Feb 4, 202711:24 UTC-05:00Iris completed the implementation-wide wording check across the corrected staff-only reference slice. Every reviewed card identifies owner-map or Cardinality Guardrails as the authority and keeps Lantern in the explanation-and-navigation role. No card claims that Lantern owns a linked value or control, displays an authority payload as Lantern data, or presents a write control. This completes the broader evidence that remained pending after her January 19 sentence review, so her wording-check matter is closed for the corrected slice.

Feb 4, 202715:18 UTC-05:00The scheduled February 4 corrected staff-only handoff rerun is complete. Across 88 lookups, all 11 inventory mappings navigated to their authoritative records, all 16 dual-authority cases retained separate owner-map and Cardinality Guardrails identities and source timestamps, eight stale or missing records rendered explicit unknown, and six denied requests made zero adapter calls. Iris’s completed wording check found no claim that Lantern owns a linked value or control, and the run contained no authority payload, mutation path, customer request, customer artifact, or customer output. I closed the shared-contract block. Update “Q1 2027 platform workstreams — Lantern, Guardrails, and owner map” with this exact rerun evidence and the closed block, then post a concise team-channel closeout. Preserve that the corrected slice is available for continuing internal use without entering Harbor Health or Mosaic Commerce, while the broader Q1 workstream is not complete and no customer exposure is authorized.

Feb 4, 202716:05 UTC-05:00Revise the February 4 corrected reference rerun bullet in “Hema brief — February 6.” Cyrus republished both affected Cardinality Guardrails records with the correct canonical metrics-router identity and their original authoritative source timestamps. Across 88 staff-only lookups, all 11 inventory mappings navigated correctly; all 16 dual-authority cases retained separate owner-map and Cardinality Guardrails identities and timestamps; eight stale or missing records rendered explicit unknown; six denied requests made zero adapter calls; Iris found no claim that Lantern owns a linked value or control; and no authority payload, mutation path, customer request, customer artifact, or customer output appeared. I closed the shared-contract block. State that the corrected slice is available for continuing internal use, but the broader Q1 workstream has not been accepted as complete and customer authorization is unchanged.

Feb 5, 202708:12 UTC-05:00My Infra primary interval ended at 8:00 AM with a clean handoff: no active production incident, open production window, or pending owner-led action. Nadia’s scheduled secondary interval ended with the handoff, and service ownership is unchanged. Post the clean closeout to #infra.

Feb 5, 202709:05 UTC-05:00The corrected first Q1 reference slice enters a two-week internal operating observation today, running February 5 through February 18. Product Engineering will count staff-only reference-card renders and cards carrying both owner-map and Cardinality Guardrails references; Wes will exercise all 11 mapped metrics-router controls in an owner-led operating review; Iris will inspect wording for any transfer of authority; and Product Engineering will separately audit Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce for requests, artifacts, or outputs from the internal integration. This starts evidence collection but does not complete the broader workstream or authorize customer exposure. Update the existing “Q1 2027 platform workstreams — Lantern, Guardrails, and owner map” document with the observation period, evidence plan, and still-pending completion status.

Feb 5, 202718:20 UTC-05:00Kibo’s routine paw exam is complete. The vet found mild superficial irritation between the same two front toes, consistent with repeated salt contact, but no cut, retained object, broken nail, swelling, heat, discharge, infection, gait change, or pain response. He’s still walking normally, and no topical medication was prescribed. Devika and I should keep rinsing and drying after salted walks and may use a properly fitted physical paw barrier. We should seek another evaluation if a wound, swelling, heat, discharge, pain, limp, appetite change, behavior change, or persistent worsening appears. There’s no routine follow-up pending.

Feb 6, 202711:12 UTC-05:00The February 6 one-on-one with Hema is done. She treated my February 1–5 primary handoff as clean, kept the January 1–March 15 Lantern evidence cycle open, and agreed that the corrected first reference slice should accumulate internal operating evidence through February 18. She did not accept the broader Q1 workstream as complete, change ownership, open a production window, or alter customer authorization.

Feb 6, 202711:40 UTC-05:00After our one-on-one, Hema confirmed the closeout review for Thursday, February 18, 2027 from 10:30 to 11:15 AM with me, Hema, Iris, Cyrus, Wes, and Product Engineering. The review will assess the completed February 5–18 internal operating evidence and decide whether the four first deliverables are complete; scheduling it does not make that decision early or change the separate authority or customer boundaries. Create the “First-slice operating-evidence closeout review” event with those attendees and details.

Feb 6, 202718:30 UTC-05:00I measured Kibo’s weight-bearing paws at approximately 2.4 inches wide in front and 2.2 inches in back. Option A: reusable water-resistant fabric boots. Size 3 fits paw widths of 2.25–2.50 inches. They come as a set of four, with two hook-and-loop straps per boot and a textured flexible sole. Option B: disposable natural-rubber boots. Medium fits paw widths of 2.25–2.75 inches. They come in a package of twelve, with no rigid sole or strap. The vet recommended only a physical barrier plus continued rinsing and drying; no topical medication was prescribed.

Feb 7, 202712:20 UTC-05:00Devika and I finished the two-hour tax-prep session. We entered both W-2s and the joint 1099-INT, and the software matches $479,300.00 in combined Box 1 wages, $96,012.00 in federal withholding, $28,860.00 in New York withholding, $684.23 in interest income, and my $3,006.00 Box 12 code W amount. My Form 1095-C is retained as health-coverage support and was not entered as income. Our employer, bank, and account checklist found no other outstanding income or withholding form. We still have not completed a line-by-line reconciliation, reviewed a final refund or balance, authorized filing, or filed either return. Update “Alex and Devika — 2026 tax prep” with the completed entry work, matched totals, no-additional-income-form finding, and narrower remaining steps.

Feb 7, 202718:42 UTC-05:00During the family call, Anya invited Devika and me to North Pier Studio’s spring open studio on Saturday, March 13, 2027 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM, and we accepted. It’s a social visit and does not make me a routine reviewer of Anya’s design-system or handoff work. Create the shared event for me, Devika, and Anya.

Feb 8, 202709:10 UTC-05:00The Lantern preview now covers 912 customer sessions and 176 explanation requests through February 7: 118 combined explanations, 38 cases kept separate because their source timestamps were more than 24 hours apart, and 20 explicit unknowns. Eligible renderer failures and all tracked safety and internal-reference issues remain at zero. Harbor Health has used the view in five release follow-ups and Mosaic Commerce in four incident handoffs. These figures remain provisional through March 15 and do not create a continuation decision or authorization after March 31.

Feb 8, 202715:45 UTC-05:00Product Engineering’s first internal-operation tally, covering February 5–7, has 18 staff-only reference-card renders, including six cards with both owner-map and Cardinality Guardrails references. Eight of the 11 mapped metrics-router controls have been exercised so far, and all eight remained navigable to their authoritative records. Iris’s initial wording spot-check found no authority-transfer language, and the customer-path audit has found no request, artifact, or output in Harbor Health or Mosaic Commerce so far. These are partial observations, not the completed two-week result or Hema’s acceptance.

Feb 9, 202710:20 UTC-05:00Wes, Iris, and Product Engineering agreed to hold the owner-led first-slice operating review on Wednesday, February 10, 2027 from 2:00 to 2:45 PM. We’ll exercise all 11 mapped metrics-router controls, require navigation to the authoritative pre-acceptance backpressure record without copying its value into Lantern, inspect the live wording for authority transfer, and check the Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce customer-path audit. This is evidence collection only; internal operation continues through February 18, and Hema’s completion decision remains open. Create the event for me, Wes, Iris, and Product Engineering with those evidence checks.

Feb 9, 202721:20 UTC-05:00At the rescheduled bouldering session with Ren, I finally sent the V5 compression line that had stayed unfinished after the October progression. I got it on my second hard attempt while my heel-hook timing was still precise. I made three quality attempts on the V6 vertical line without sending it, then stopped when fingertip tenderness—not forearm symptoms—became limiting. I had no forearm pain during the session or afterward, and I’m not looking for another training plan right now.

Feb 10, 202715:15 UTC-05:00The February 10 owner-led operating review is complete. Wes used the staff-only navigation for all 11 mapped metrics-router controls and reached the authoritative pre-acceptance backpressure record without copying its value into Lantern. Owner-map and Cardinality Guardrails references remained distinct wherever both applied. Iris found no reviewed wording that transferred authority to Lantern, and Product Engineering’s audit through the review found no internal-reference request, artifact, or output in Harbor Health or Mosaic Commerce. Update the existing Q1 platform-workstreams document with this evidence while keeping the two-week observation and Hema’s February 18 completion decision open.

Feb 11, 202709:05 UTC-05:00Devika received her hospital 2026 Form 1095-C after our February 7 data-entry session. Her legal name and South Slope address are correct, the employer is her Manhattan hospital, offer or coverage is indicated for all twelve months, and the form is not marked corrected. Identifying numbers are omitted. This is health-coverage support rather than income and does not change the entered W-2 or 1099-INT figures. Both spouses’ coverage-support forms are now collected, while the line-by-line reconciliation, final refund or balance review, filing decision, and filing remain pending. Update “Alex and Devika — 2026 tax prep” with Devika’s Form 1095-C and preserve the unfinished return-review and filing status.

Feb 11, 202714:40 UTC-05:00Product Engineering reconciled the first-week internal-operation checkpoint through February 11: 31 staff-only reference-card renders, including 11 cards with both owner-map and Cardinality Guardrails references. All 11 mapped metrics-router controls remain navigable, including the pre-acceptance backpressure record exercised in Wes’s review. 003828Feb 15, 202715:40 UTC-05:00Here is the mid-cycle Lantern checkpoint through February 14. We have 1,106 customer sessions and 213 logical explanation requests: 143 eligible combined explanations, 46 cases kept separate because their source timestamps were more than 24 hours apart, and 24 explicit-unknown outcomes for stale or missing input. Eligible renderer failures are 0. Harbor Health has used the view in 6 release follow-ups and Mosaic Commerce in 5 incident handoffs. Authorization-wrapper bypasses, adapter calls after denial, cross-tenant material, missing provenance or source timestamps, unpublished ownership renders, excluded-field exposures, and losses of read-only enforcement are all 0. For both Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce, internal-reference requests, artifacts, and outputs are 0. Please append this checkpoint to the existing Lantern Q1 evidence document. The figures are provisional, collection stays open through March 15, no continuation decision has been made, and there is no authorization after March 31.

Create a calendar event titled “Lunch with Cyrus” for February 16, 2027 from 12:30 to 1:30 PM with Alex and Cyrus as attendees. Note that it’s a peer catch-up over lunch near the office, not an owner, release, or approval meeting.

Feb 16, 202720:10 UTC-05:00After another day reviewing the reconciled drafts, Devika and I decided we’re comfortable filing both the federal and New York returns. We added our own shared calendar block for Saturday, February 20 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM to do the final portal checks and submit. Neither return has been filed yet, and both Forms 1095-C remain retained with our records.

Feb 17, 202718:45 UTC-05:00I tried the reusable size-3 winter boots on Kibo indoors. The front boots fit his approximately 2.4-inch front paws and stayed oriented through ten minutes of walking. His approximately 2.2-inch rear paws fall just below the listed 2.25–2.50-inch range, and one rear boot rotated even though the straps were snug enough to fit two fingers underneath. There was no rubbing, redness, pain, or gait change, and I haven’t used them outside. Assess the fit and recommend whether I should avoid the four-boot set, seek mixed sizing, or use the medium disposable barriers on the rear paws, including clear signs that mean a boot should come off immediately.

Feb 18, 202711:32 UTC-05:00The 10:30–11:15 AM closeout review is complete, and Hema accepted the four first deliverables as complete. The final February 5–18 operating evidence was: - 52 staff-only reference-card renders - 19 cards with both owner-map and Cardinality Guardrails references - 11 of 11 mapped metrics-router controls remained navigable - Wes reached the authoritative pre-acceptance backpressure record without copying its value into Lantern - Iris found no interpretation wording that transferred authority - Harbor Health internal-reference requests, artifacts, and outputs: 0, 0, 0 - Mosaic Commerce internal-reference requests, artifacts, and outputs: 0, 0, 0 The continuing lanes are unchanged: Lantern handles explanation and navigation, Cardinality Guardrails owns pipeline limits and cost semantics, the owner map owns published responsibility, and Product Engineering owns implementation. The internal reference integration remains outside Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce.

Feb 19, 202708:42 UTC-05:00Hema scheduled our next 1:1 for Friday, March 5, 2027 from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. The focused agenda is the still-open January 1–March 15 Lantern customer-preview evidence cycle, operating boundaries after the completed first Q1 platform slice, and my current owner-scoped Infra review load. This is an operating check; it does not complete the evidence cycle, make a continuation decision, alter customer authorization, change ownership, or open a production window. Add the “Hema 1:1” event to my calendar with Hema as an attendee.

Feb 19, 202711:18 UTC-05:00Wes asked for a bounded cross-service failure-mode review of metrics-router PR https://git.sphere.internal/infra/metrics-router/pull/2094. The candidate sequence is: (1) persist `active_generation=N+1`; (2) build and atomically publish the immutable N+1 route snapshot. A staging crash injection exits between those steps. On restart, the process reads `active_generation=N+1`, skips replay, retains generation N route content, reports ready for fourteen seconds, and is then repaired by periodic reconciliation. Production is unchanged. Wes remains the implementation and release owner; I’m reviewing only the publication and recovery invariant.

Feb 19, 202711:18 UTC-05:00Review PR 2094 and request changes with a concise blocking comment requiring generation identity and matching immutable route content to become visible atomically, or restart recovery to fail closed. Require crash-point and restart regressions proving that neither readiness nor routing can observe the mixed state, without prescribing an implementation.
