Apr 3, 202611:42 UTC-04:00Roman returned the revision to Cardinality Guardrails PR https://git.sphere.internal/data/cardinality-guardrails/pull/512 after my March blocking review. The revised fixture compares key presence in both directions and requires exact equality between each expected bounded-value set and the set observed from rollup-service. The executed regressions fail for a missing expected value, fail for an unexpected downstream value, and pass for a matching key-and-value set. Production is unchanged.

Apr 8, 202611:18 UTC-04:00Product Engineering opened https://git.sphere.internal/product/lantern/pull/1047 for the incident-load shared-registration implementation. In staging preflight, all 20 unauthorized lookups are ultimately denied, but the registration path constructs and initializes the adapter before evaluating the denial, and the adapter-call counter shows source access on 2 denied requests. No customer path has changed; the source is still in adapter-local configuration. Review the PR with a request-changes decision and post the blocking comment requiring authorization to complete before adapter construction or source access, plus regression evidence that denied requests make zero adapter calls. Make clear that this blocks only the pre-authorization path and that the April 17 migration, LPS-001, and Iris’s paired interpretation check remain pending.

Apr 9, 202616:12 UTC-04:00Hema scheduled a one-on-one with me for Friday, April 10 from 10:30 to 11:00 AM. Create the calendar event with Hema and me, noting that the meeting makes no owner-map or authorization change. Also create a short document titled “Hema brief — April 10” with these three bullets: - The incident-load shared-registration work remains in progress toward April 17 and has not changed customer access. - The Infra cross-service proposal intake rule is now in effect and separates mapped implementation/release and rollback ownership from any triggered exception review rather than creating a centralized gate. - I am staying focused on safety and cross-service boundaries while Product Engineering owns Lantern implementation and Iris owns customer interpretation.

Apr 14, 202615:47 UTC-04:00Product Engineering revised https://git.sphere.internal/product/lantern/pull/1047 so tenant authorization now runs before the incident-load adapter is constructed or any source path is called. The targeted staging regression shows 40 denied lookups with zero adapter constructions and zero source calls. The 12 authorized fixtures still carry the tenant-scoped provenance source identifier and required source timestamp, and stale input still renders explicit unknown. The source has not yet moved out of adapter-local configuration, and the full LPS-001 and Iris’s paired interpretation check remain scheduled with the April 17 migration. Review the revised PR with a comment decision and post the follow-up clearing only the targeted pre-authorization-access blocker while leaving final migration and acceptance pending.

Apr 16, 202617:40 UTC-04:00The vet sent the preparation reminder for Kibo’s routine annual exam on Friday, April 24 from 8:30 to 9:00 AM. The time is unchanged, he has no current urgent symptom, and no fasting is required. We should bring his current medication and preventive list, plus a fresh stool sample if feasible. Update the existing shared calendar event with those instructions and note that I’ll bring Kibo.

Apr 17, 202616:35 UTC-04:00Product Engineering completed the scheduled April 17 migration of Lantern’s incident-load source from adapter-local configuration into shared registration. The operating path now evaluates tenant authorization before source access, uses LILP-1 with the tenant-scoped provenance source identifier and required source timestamp, renders stale or missing input as explicit unknown, preserves the full excluded-field list, and remains read-only. All three existing Lantern customer source families now use shared registration. I ran LPS-001 over 240 tenant-scoped lookups: 120 for Harbor Health and 120 for Mosaic Commerce. Sixteen denied requests made no adapter call, twelve stale or missing inputs rendered explicit unknown, and no lookup produced an authorization-wrapper bypass, cross-tenant material, missing required provenance, a missing required source timestamp, an excluded field, unpublished ownership, or a write. Iris also completed the paired interpretation check. Every reviewed pre- and post-migration pair communicated the same incident-load state for the same tenant, published service, and source timestamp; stale or missing input remained explicit unknown; and the wording added no release-readiness judgment, causal claim, employee-performance interpretation, or newly authorized data. The migration changes neither the two-account authorization nor the customer data scope, so Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce remain the only preview accounts and access remains read-only. Append this as a dated April 17 completion section to “Lantern platform-line operating handoff — April 1” for the June 24 operating-evidence review.

Apr 20, 202608:15 UTC-04:00South Slope management gave notice of a planned building water shutdown tomorrow, Tuesday, April 21, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for building-side valve maintenance. Both hot and cold water will be unavailable. We need to fill drinking water, including Kibo’s bowl, beforehand and avoid running the dishwasher during the shutdown. The notice doesn’t identify an apartment defect or household charge. Add the exact interruption to the shared calendar for Devika and me so we don’t overlook it during the workday.

Apr 22, 202611:05 UTC-04:00Hema wants stronger evidence for her next calibration packet that my cross-service role creates reusable boundaries without centralizing implementation or release authority. Append a dated April 22 addendum to “Staff IC evidence review — April 10” covering two examples: the April 7 proposal-intake rule separately names the mapped implementation and release owner, rollback owner, and any triggered invariant, provenance, failure-mode, ownership, or escalation exception owner; and the April 17 Lantern incident-load migration left implementation with Product Engineering and customer interpretation with Iris while I owned the shared-registration safety gate and the 240-lookup LPS-001 rerun. Note that 16 denied requests made no adapter call, 12 stale or missing inputs rendered explicit unknown, and there was no safety or authorization violation. Make clear that this does not imply an owner-map or customer-access change.

Apr 24, 202609:18 UTC-04:00Kibo’s annual exam was reassuring—no urgent illness, and his heart, lungs, joints, and exercise tolerance were normal—but he weighed 56.2 pounds, up from 52.8 at his prior annual exam, with a body-condition score of 6 out of 9. The vet set a target range of 52 to 54 pounds. Create a shared calendar event for his weight recheck on Friday, June 19, from 8:30 to 8:45 AM. In the notes, include the target range and our current plan: 2.25 cups total per day with training treats counted within that amount, plus at least a 10-minute after-dinner loop on five days each week.

Apr 25, 202612:40 UTC-04:00Anya is coming over to the South Slope apartment tomorrow, April 26, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM for an early, low-key dinner and time with Kibo. It’ll be her first visit since we finished the folding guest-bed and entry-bench setup in February, and there’s no North Pier work review planned. Create a shared calendar event for the three of us so the afternoon stays clear, noting the early dinner and no work agenda.

Apr 27, 202615:20 UTC-04:00Wes is refreshing the next quarterly incident-practice module and asked me for one current cross-service failure case. Append a dated scenario to the existing "Cross-service failure-case intake template" based on the April Lantern migration preflight: in staging, all 20 unauthorized lookups were ultimately denied, but every one constructed and initialized the incident-load adapter before authorization completed; 2 of those 20 also accessed the source. Frame it as a blocked pre-authorization candidate, not a deployed customer incident, with existing customer access unchanged while the candidate remains undeployed. The expected analysis should require authorization before adapter construction or source access, denial regressions showing zero adapter constructions and zero source calls, and then the affected LPS-001 rerun before migration acceptance. Preserve the ownership boundary: Product Engineering remains the implementation and release owner; I maintain the cross-service failure case and review the shared safety and failure-mode boundary. Also keep the existing module split that Wes owns and teaches responder paths, Nadia retains the postmortem section, and I maintain cross-service failure cases.

Apr 30, 202619:10 UTC-04:00Devika and I have started Kibo’s 2.25-cups-total-per-day plan, with training treats counted inside that amount. We use his regular kibble for training and usually need about 0.25 cup on a training day. I’m thinking we reserve 0.25 cup for training, then serve 1 cup at breakfast and 1 cup at dinner. On a non-training day, the reserved 0.25 cup can go into dinner while the daily total stays at 2.25 cups. Check the arithmetic and phrase that as a compact fridge routine.

May 4, 202618:35 UTC-04:00South Slope management sent Devika and me a renewal offer for September 15, 2026 through September 14, 2027 at $3,717 per month, with a response due June 1, 2026. Our current executed term remains in force through September 14, 2026 at $3,540 per month. The offer says Kibo’s existing dog permission continues and lists no new pet or amenity fee. We haven’t decided whether to renew. The apartment’s established strengths are the separate windowed work room, manageable access, workable hospital commute, dog permission, and September timing.

Give me a compact spoken outline that makes clear that naming an exception reviewer neither creates a centralized approval gate nor transfers ordinary implementation and release work away from the mapped owner.

May 8, 202620:05 UTC-04:00For Kibo's June 19 weight recheck baseline: during our first complete Monday-through-Friday stretch under the new plan, Devika and I kept him at 2.25 cups total per day, counted regular kibble used for training within that amount, and completed at least a 10-minute after-dinner loop on all five days. His energy and exercise tolerance remain normal. I don't have a new weight, and we're not changing the plan or seeking an earlier veterinary visit; this is just the initial adherence baseline for the scheduled recheck.

May 12, 202614:36 UTC-04:00Harbor Health surfaced a concrete release-follow-up case: provenance-backed deploy movement arrives under the retired service identifier `claims-edge`, while the published owner-map record uses `claims-ingest`. Lantern safely keeps the deploy signal separate and renders ownership as explicit unknown rather than heuristically joining the similar identifiers. That avoids a false ownership claim and triggers no automatic-stop condition, but it leaves Harbor Health without a usable combined service explanation. Create a “Lantern published service rename working decision” event for Iris and me on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 2:00 to 2:45 PM. The notes should preserve the current safe fallback, frame the decision around what published, tenant-scoped evidence could authorize an identity join, and state that no alias-resolution implementation is active.

May 14, 202615:08 UTC-04:00Iris and I made the Lantern service-rename decision. Lantern may resolve a historical service identifier only when the tenant-scoped owner map publishes an alias record containing the old identifier, the canonical published service identifier, and an effective interval covering the source event’s timestamp. Both endpoints are inclusive. If the alias is absent, the timestamp is earlier than the inclusive start, or it is later than the inclusive end, Lantern must keep the signals separate and render ownership as explicit unknown. The UI may not infer a rename from similar names or customer context. No alias resolution is active yet. Until Product Engineering completes implementation and the affected safety rerun, Harbor Health’s `claims-edge` deploy signal remains separate from `claims-ingest`, with ownership shown as explicit unknown. Product Engineering owns implementation by May 28, 2026; I own the positive and negative safety regressions; and Iris owns the customer-facing wording. Create a document titled “Lantern published service alias rule — May 14 decision” containing that decision, endpoint semantics, fallback behavior, inactive status, ownership split, and implementation target.

Iris and I made the Lantern service-rename decision. 003429May 16, 202617:42 UTC-04:00Anya is joining Devika and me for tomorrow’s cortado-and-crossword outing. Create a one-time calendar event titled “Sunday cortado and crossword with Anya” for May 17 from 10:00 to 11:15 AM, with all three of us attending. The location is the 7th Avenue cortado cafe in Park Slope, and from South Slope it’s the longer deliberate walk. Don’t make it a recurring series.

May 18, 202615:36 UTC-04:00Roman and Nadia supplied the evidence for Wes’s proposed `queue_refusal_reason` value rename from `queue_full` to `tenant_queue_full`. Roman’s compatibility replay accepts both bounded values during the transition, maps them to the same refusal aggregate, rejects unknown values, and shows no split or dropped consumer series. Nadia’s alert replay shows that both values drive the same queue-refusal condition and that the post-change dashboards and alerts create no silent gap. The wire response and queue behavior remain unchanged, so my limited cross-service failure-mode review is satisfied. Send Wes a private Slack DM saying that my exception review is closed on the supplied evidence. State that he retains the ordinary implementation, release, and rollback decisions; that the review does not schedule or authorize a production change; and that Roman retains consumer compatibility responsibility while Nadia retains alert-semantics responsibility.

May 19, 202619:42 UTC-04:00Devika and I completed Kibo’s online dog-license renewal during the scheduled block. The $8.50 payment was accepted, the confirmation has the correct South Slope address, and the renewed license expires June 30, 2027. His rabies certificate already on file remains valid through August 2026, so no veterinary visit or new rabies record was required.

May 20, 202611:18 UTC-04:00Product Engineering opened Lantern PR 1089 for the tenant-scoped published-service alias implementation. The candidate predicate is `alias.start_at <= source_event_at && source_event_at < alias.end_at`, and a fixture whose source-event timestamp equals `alias.end_at` expects the signals to remain separate with ownership rendered as explicit unknown. That makes the end exclusive, contrary to the May 14 decision that both endpoints are inclusive. The live Harbor Health `claims-edge` signal is still separate from `claims-ingest`; no alias resolution has been activated, and the affected safety rerun has not happened.

May 22, 202615:34 UTC-04:00The revised endpoint, absent-alias, and out-of-interval fixtures in Lantern PR 1089 now pass. Product Engineering still needs Iris’s two exact final customer-facing strings: the authorized alias join and the no-qualifying-alias fallback that keeps the signals separate and renders ownership as explicit unknown. Send Iris a private Slack DM asking for those strings and noting that the passing fixtures do not authorize activation; the candidate remains inactive pending my affected safety rerun.

May 26, 202616:42 UTC-04:00Devika and I used our May 17 review time but are still undecided on the South Slope renewal, and management reminded us that our response is due June 1. Create a shared calendar event for Alex and Devika titled “South Slope renewal final decision” on Sunday, May 31 from 5:00 to 5:30 PM. Include that the September 15, 2026–September 14, 2027 offer is $3,717 in full recurring monthly rent, with no additional recurring charges or new riders, no change to the utility-allocation arrangement, and Kibo’s existing dog permission continuing without a new pet fee. Make clear that the renewal remains unaccepted and the event does not imply acceptance.

May 28, 202615:40 UTC-04:00Product Engineering deployed Lantern PR 1089’s tenant-scoped published-service alias resolution for Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce today. Both endpoints of the effective interval are inclusive. The original Harbor Health `claims-edge` event now resolves to published `claims-ingest` ownership because its source timestamp is covered by the published alias interval. Across 28 executed fixtures, all 12 valid in-interval aliases joined to their canonical published service identifiers. Eight out-of-interval aliases and eight identifiers with no published alias record stayed separate with explicit unknown ownership. My affected safety rerun found no cross-tenant resolution, missing provenance, unpublished ownership render, excluded field, adapter call after denial, or loss of read-only enforcement. Iris approved these exact strings: Authorized join: `Published service identity resolved from an owner-map alias effective at this source event timestamp.` No qualifying alias: `Ownership unknown: no published owner-map alias covers this source event timestamp.` The deployment applies only to Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce, adds no heuristic identity inference, and does not expand the customer data contract.

May 31, 202617:42 UTC-04:00Devika and I finished our final renewal discussion and decided to accept the South Slope offer rather than restart an apartment search. The term is September 15, 2026 through September 14, 2027 at $3,717 in full recurring monthly rent, with no additional recurring charges or new riders, no change to the utility-allocation arrangement, and Kibo’s existing dog permission continuing without a new pet fee. Our response is due June 1. Email leasing@southslopemanagement.com tonight stating that we both accept those clarified terms and asking for written acknowledgment and the countersigned renewal copy.

Jun 2, 202611:10 UTC-04:00Product Engineering confirmed it can provide the frozen April 1 through June 15 Lantern operating export in time for Hema’s June 24 review, scheduled for 10:30 to 11:15 AM Eastern with me, Iris, Hema, and Product Engineering. I want a new preparation document for this review rather than modifying an older evidence cycle. Create a document titled “Lantern April 1–June 15 operating-evidence review prep.” Preserve the Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce two-account read-only boundary and the permitted surface of provenance-backed deploy movement, published service ownership, timestamped incident-load summaries, and explicit unknown states. Assign Product Engineering to supply the frozen export; me to reconcile customer sessions, logical explanation categories, provenance and permission checks, and automatic-stop conditions; Iris to provide customer-use interpretation separately from the technical evidence; and Hema to chair the review. Include a checklist to reconcile total customer sessions and logical explanation requests against eligible combined explanations, valid cases kept separate because timestamps differ by more than 24 hours, and explicit-unknown outcomes for stale or missing input, with eligible renderer failures recorded separately. Include checks for the shared authorization wrapper, authorization before source access, no adapter call after denial, tenant isolation, required provenance and source timestamps, published ownership only, excluded-field protection, explicit unknown handling, and read-only enforcement, along with the existing automatic-stop conditions. Verify the shared-registration and published-alias paths separately. For the alias path, retain the inclusive start and end timestamps, the Harbor Health `claims-edge` to published `claims-ingest` result, explicit unknown for an absent or out-of-interval alias, no heuristic rename inference, and the approved join and fallback text. The document should prepare the evidence without presuming customer use, authorizing new scope, or stating the June 24 result early.

Jun 3, 202610:12 UTC-04:00South Slope management sent the written acknowledgment and countersigned renewal after Devika and I accepted on May 31. We verified that the executed renewal runs from September 15, 2026 through September 14, 2027 at $3,717 in full recurring monthly rent, with the utility allocation unchanged, no additional recurring charges or new riders, and Kibo’s existing dog permission continuing without a new pet fee. Our current lease remains in force through September 14, 2026, and the renewal takes effect after that. Nothing is still pending.
