I've reviewed my September 8–15 commitments and can take Hema's proposed Infra primary block, with Nadia as secondary. Send Hema the acceptance DM, then create the on-call event from Monday, September 8 at 9:00 AM through Monday, September 15 at 9:00 AM. Keep the existing rotation boundaries and escalation rule unchanged.

Iris forwarded this draft support copy for Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce: “Unavailable means Lantern has stale data.” That collapses two different states. A deploy movement without a stable source-event ID is unavailable and isn't heuristically deduplicated. A permitted source that is stale or missing renders explicit unknown. The authorized data scope isn't changing, and we shouldn't imply broader access.

Explain the distinction and draft concise customer-facing wording Iris can use.

The metrics-router owner revised PR https://git.sphere.internal/infra/metrics-router/pull/1912 to handle directory rename/create events, validate content before publication, and emit an explicit failed-reload signal. The new stress case does two atomic replacements 11 ms apart. The first replacement detaches the file watch during processing, so the second is missed until the 60-second content-hash poll. The process serves the first replacement during that interval with no prompt signal that it missed the second on-disk generation. Production is unchanged.

Review PR 1912 and request changes with a concise blocking follow-up requiring prompt detection of normal atomic-replacement bursts through watch rearming or equivalent behavior, explicit signaling when prompt detection fails, and executed burst-replacement regressions that rule out silent stale serving.

Product Engineering supplied a Lantern CSV implementation branch. Executed tests show that replacement-token audit events preserve the original customer requester, acting support administrator, reason, and original export link. Chunk-level authorization rechecks also stop an active stream after revocation and invalidate the token. The remaining failure is restart recovery: when the exporter is killed after three chunks, the incomplete object stays in storage until the normal 24-hour retention job instead of being deleted during recovery. CSV still has no customer authorization and remains unavailable and unpromised.

Draft a concise blocking review comment for this implementation review. Require restart-safe deletion or equivalent fail-closed handling of incomplete generated files, plus executed crash-and-recovery evidence. Do not authorize CSV implementation or customer access.

Hema scheduled a post-holiday one-on-one for Tuesday, September 2 from 11:30 AM to noon. The focused agenda is my accepted September 8-15 Infra primary block, my current owner-scoped metrics-router review queue, and Lantern's unchanged Harbor Health and Mosaic Commerce two-account monitoring work. Parsing, key sorting, and line-ending normalization address the non-semantic differences she described earlier, but trimming would hide a changed token value.

Explain which normalization steps are safe for semantic comparison, why token-value whitespace must not be silently normalized unless the schema defines it as insignificant, and which original artifacts should be retained as evidence. Keep this to the engineering boundary rather than taking over her implementation.

Rollback grants are now bound to current generation 621, exact target 618, operator identity, a five-minute expiry, and an audit ID, and they're marked consumed only after publication. In the concurrency regression, two workers using the same grant both validate it as unused before either publishes, and both complete the rollback path. Production remains unchanged.

Review PR 1920 and request changes with a concise blocking follow-up that preserves the improved binding but requires atomic, non-reusable grant consumption; failure-safe behavior between authorization consumption and publication; and executed concurrent-reuse, replay, and consumption/publication-failure regressions.

Restaurant A says it has provisionally kept our November 12 table for eight from 6:30 to 8:30 PM while Devika and I complete secure card authorization. The request expires Wednesday, September 3 at 5:00 PM. Card details must not be emailed, and the reservation remains unconfirmed until we complete the secure step.
