Fact 141
On January 6, 2025, Lantern's internal operational-handoff rerun passed all three synthetic failure scenarios: responders identified stale provenance from an explicit unknown state without pursuing adapter latency, verified that a policy denial made zero adapter calls, and distinguished an adapter timeout occurring after a successful freshness check; every page contained only tenant-safe synthetic context, traces matched the displayed failure classes, and the alert-classification and operational-handoff gap is now closed.

The internal Lantern exercise reran all three synthetic failures. Responders identified stale provenance from the explicit unknown state without chasing adapter latency, identified a policy denial and verified zero adapter calls, and distinguished an adapter timeout that occurred only after a successful freshness check. Each captured page contained only tenant-safe synthetic context, and the traces matched the displayed failure class. The alert-classification and operational-handoff gap is closed, while customer selection and access authorization remain separate pilot-preparation work and customer access remains closed.
